Reflection on Observing
By observing the moon and researching the names and events of all of the stages helped me to be a better teacher myself. Something that me was that the moon can rise twice in one day. It makes sense, it just seems weird. I was also interested to see how long a full moon lasts, and was surprised to see it appear to last so long. I think observing the moon helped to solidify in my mind that the moon orbits around the earth. I think observing changes for any science topic is helpful so that you have a personal connection to the changes.
